Our Story

Since 1954, Gibby’s rich, velvety ice cream has been a staple in Levittown, Pennsylvania. All of our flavors are lovingly handmade right here at our store to ensure that we deliver the creamy, decadent flavors that our loyal customers have come to expect. The Purcell family has owned and operated Gibby’s for decades.  Karen Purcell Reynolds and Rich Reynolds are proud to continue the family tradition that Karen’s Father, William Purcell, built. 

Our customers say, “It’s not Springtime until Gibby’s opens its doors!”  We are excited to “open our doors” online and expand our family of customers through our new online ordering and shipping options.  We will be offering our classic favorites like Mint Chocolate Chip, our unique specialties like Teaberry, and our seasonal treats like Egg Nog and Pumpkin.  We will continue to make all of our flavors by hand and right here at home.
